Hogan Wines Chenin Blanc 2024 shows crisp definition from start to finish. Harvested early in Wellington to preserve zippy natural acidity, the wine was tank-fermented and matured on fine lees for 6 months to build texture while retaining clarity. On the nose it presents bright citrus (grapefruit, lemon-zest), white orchard blossom and a subtle flint-dust minerality. The palate is finely chiselled and focused, with green-apple skin, quince and a thread of saline edge before a clean, tapering finish. Versatile with seafood, light-curries or enjoyed solo, this is elegant, modern South African Chenin with provenance and poise.
