This is two genuinely excellent bottles of Cape wine - made by Thelema Mountain Vineyards, one of Stellenbosch’s most celebrated estates - wearing the Umhlali Prep name proudly on the label. The Wines

Merlot 2023

A proper red. Rich, full-bodied and built for the kind of evening that starts with one glass and ends with all the good stories coming out. Braai wine. Dinner party wine. “I’ll just have one more” wine. Stellenbosch terroir at its best, crafted by people who really know what they’re doing.

Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Crisp, fresh and dangerously easy to drink on a KZN summer afternoon. This is the bottle that goes into the cooler box and comes out empty before you’ve even fired up the braai. A brilliant gift for a teacher, a thank-you for a coach, or just the thing you bring to a gathering when you want people to know you’ve made an effort.

Both wines carry the Umhlali story on the back label because this isn’t just wine, it’s a celebration.
